Oktay is responsible for non-profit and donation-related global product features globally. He was a co-founder and CTO of MissionFish, eBay Inc.’s non-profit partner for cause marketing and donation programs. MissionFish has been an eBay partner since 2003 and has helped raise a quarter of a billion dollars for charities. Oktay is also responsible for integrating those donation and nonprofit related capabilities into PayPal. He has served as the CTO of the Points of Light Foundation and as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has developed imaginative, Internet-based solutions for clients ranging from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Internal Revenue Service, and Social Security Administration, to America's Promise, and Dutch Telecom provider KPN. Oktay is co-author of the book Electronic Commerce: Technical, Business, and Legal Issues, and was once an avid rugby player.
