Jessica Pointer is a digital communications advisor at the American Petroleum Institute (API) where she manages several of trade association’s education and advocacy websites, including  EnergyTomorrow.org and often advises many of the organization’s member companies on web best practices. Her expertise within API includes ensuring the company’s websites and advertising are mobile friendly, and she has developed the organization's mobile apps.

Jessica enjoys keeping up with the latest web and mobile trends, reading, and photography. She just completed a master’s degree in government from Johns Hopkins University, and she has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Sam Houston State University.
